Ericsson (Montreal, QC)
Mitacs was a key partner in Ericsson’s mission to pitch and secure Canada as a fourth global AI hub.
Forging a three-year agreement to build a talent pipeline for the Montreal-based Global Artificial Intelligence Accelerator (GAIA), Ericsson recruited approximately 90 graduate-level Mitacs interns from Canadian universities to enable the creation of robust, intelligent, data-driven ICT systems, including a 5G network in Canada.
